Kata is a taurus and her latest missions include increasing the number of beautiful people in Reykjavík, both by importing good looking irish males and by adding to the number of locally born beauties. Her instruments of choice are the accordion and the melodika. She adores Gylfi Ægisson and never worries about chipping her nails.

Unnur is an aries. She is a bassist, historian and the bride's webmistress. Her biggest dream is to appear in a movie directed by Cronenberg and she collects the records of the Osmond family. Unnur hates wating in lines and she abhors clubs that don't sell Campari. She is the head of Brúðarbandið's country division and is a part of an underground movement that aims to glorify country music worldwide. Rumour has it that she is the heir to Dolly Parton's legend. Guðbjörg hates it when tv people blabber on and on during award ceremonies, making you miss what the people on stage are saying and she is terrified by the Muppet show's Beeker. Guðbjörg has the ability to learn bad pop lyrics by heart the first time she hears them and she is able to speak backwards.
